This year we have another packed agenda of OpenMP events taking place including the OpenMP BOF, four full-day OpenMP tutorials, and twelve booth talks as well as the and talks taking place in the main SC’19 program.

OpenMP BOF

A year after the release of OpenMP API 5.0, we will look at the progress made in adopting the new API version. A series of lightning talks showing use-cases of OpenMP in real applications will give the audience insight into how modern OpenMP is used on recent leadership and flagship HPC systems. We will also host ARB representatives of OpenMP vendors to report on compiler availability for version 5.0. A panel discussion with leading ARB experts will give the audience the opportunity to interact directly with the ARB.
